A great introspective piece
I have to say I loved it. Without knowing really very much about the central character I deduced perhaps someone in the throws of a mid-life crisis. Certainly anyone who has experienced a 'life crisis', whether a quarter-age, middle-age, old-age crisis, could relate. I thought the pacing was perfect, and the ending suited it well. It left me wondering if this person would come out of their self-imposed exile and 'fight the good fight', so to speak. My only criticism....is that I would prefer double spacing (easier to read). I loved your graphics, and all in all thought it a fabulous read.

A lot to swallow
This piece had a lot of good points when you could find them. Could use a little more pacing.

True
The world is imperfect, and there are those who always wants more than what you give them, but where you said about going back to things more important than animals. Well evolving of animals are important also in fact many living organisms are. They help balance out the eco-system. All in all, I agree with a lot of what you have written.
