The person who means the most to you suddenly turns their back on you when you thought that you finally had someone to trust and depend on. With their words comes the realization that everything is not as simple as you had thought it to be.

This is an incredibly well written, compelling piece of prose. The concise metaphors speak volumes to the human condition. Overall, it is a heart wrenching tale that many people can relate to.

this is a brilliant piece of work
I enjoyed the way the feelings of the protagonist were displayed in this piece. I understood and connected with the main character, and overall this story reached out and touched me.
