A murder takes place on a rainy night in Medford Oregon. 1925 is a wild town with the loggers and the railroad at odds. Two men who are brother-in-laws have different ideas as to how to treat women and thier life styles. The plot is made and Zeke goes to Medford to set a reason for the murder. He returns three days later and the murder takes place in front of the wives and children.
