In Self-mutilation, I follow the events leading up to the protagonist Dolores' hospitalization in a pysch ward. She accidentally cuts herself. The doctors at the hopistal misinterpret it as a suicide attempt. They 51-50 her. I tell the story from three perspectives: 1) the kinfe that she cuts herself with; 2) her body; and, 3) her spirit.
