Hmmmm
While not my usual genre of reading, I was very impressed with this piece.  Though it reminds me of the Steven King style, I feel that this would be a good set up to another piece, but it's a little weak as a stand alone piece.  However, I truly enjoyed it!

Vandals
Good story; developed the characters well within the constraints of "flash fiction." A good read. Just wish you had a little more space to show the leader's inner motivation/anger, as well as the epiphany of the narrator. One of the shortcomings of this recent and popular short story form...

Great story, good plot. It's a short read, yet we still get to know the characters well.

Good story
Preston is officially one of my favourite authors here. The story flows naturally and rings true. It could be any neighbourhood....well done.
