BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES
I just read this story since it seemed like a good place to start with your work. I also drove throughout the country in a 53' reefer for a little while and found the experience invaluable. I was by myself (the main reason I gave it up was because I was missing my wife too much) but it truly is a whole different world out there when you're seeing it through the windshield of a big truck. You did a very good job of conveying that knowledge. I'm looking forward to reading more of your stories.

Fond Memories
My father drove a truck for more than 20 years. Your story brings back fond memories of a summer I spent over the road from him. While there are some mechanical problems with your story, I believe it is an excellent piece. It brings wonderful memories flooding back into my brain.
