A very descriptive well written story. The problem for me was that all the characters started blending into one another. Also, I normally look for empathic character, but the story didn't develop Chase Cassidy character.
Personally, the character could be the one who isn't shallow, surrounded with the crowd of Tax-cheats hiding money and living a life of splendid waste and shallowness.  Not sure if the story is going to be expanded?

I think it has great potential. They are all good-looking rascals, who need an average person to supply the truth or the dirt on them.

Again, Gillian draws in the reader with her amazing visuals.  One can actually feel part of the throng, imbibing drinks and become drunk on the atmosphere.  Love the play on names. Hopefully Anderson Cooper himself will not take offense.  A little distracting was the change from present tense to past tense and I have to admit that I was a tad let down by the ending.  I was hoping something dramatic would occur, rather than just a joyous, rollicking good time.  Nevertheless, this is an author who has fun with her writing - and we all enjoy it with her.

Really well written
The author of this piece has an exceptional way with words.  I felt like the lady from deperate housewives was telling this story to me.  There is a part in the middle of the story where you describe the Cooper Yacht racing to victory while in doors the champagne corks were popped, WoW that just gave me such a neat visual.  Seeing that it was a real social/sexual story, I would say with confidence that it would be an excellent chapter for lets say a much much longer Novel.
