Amazing!
Wow! I am literally impressed, inspired, and greatful to have read such a wonderful story. That was fantastic and I literally had to say WOW at the end. It was an amazing story from the start. I must admit I was completely offput and creeped out by the narrator and yet still drawn in by his madness and ambition.
But what really took it home was the ending. If I could ever make such an ending as shocking and great as that, I would forever be proud of myself. Five star work! I'm glad the ending, although..a just a bit creepy on Sarah's part..was sort of..happy?..I think that's the word. They both continued their life in happiness despite the scenario. Amazing =))

With a name like Faulkner...
I actually find our styles similar Mr. Faulkner. Our mutual concern with the inner-workings and deterioration of the mind. Talk about one-ups-manship! Write more, and I'll read more your narrative style is unique and refreshing!

Great story!
This is the first story I've read thats actually worthy of a 4-5 star rating.

Although a little predictable at the end, it was fast paced and excellently written.

Great job!

Five Stars
I'm still rather new to this site, but this is the first story I gave five stars to, and this after clicking on "Romance", not a genre I'm terribly fond of.  Certainly, the story itself transcended mere genre-classification, and delivered far more than expected.

I will now search out more from this very able author, while reminding myself that my high expectations can't always be rewarded.  But this time, they were.

Nice Switch
Very well done.  I especially liked the quick ending.  The journal dates were a unique touch.  I used dates and times as chapter names in The Swords of Allah. Check it out let me know if you think it worked.

Wow what a future world
The author buys or rather makes a porno doll that is actually an exact replica of girl named sarah.  He slowly becomes delusional and thinks the doll actually wants him.  Kind of a kinky frankenstein.

Unique title
Enjoyed this work tremendously. It seemed as if the main character thought he knew what he wanted and what his ideal mate would look and act like, but in the end he loathed all the attention lavished on him by her...it suffocated him.

I loved the story!
The plot was fantastic!

The voice was appropriate: at first it seemed a bit stiff and dry, but since it was all the voice of the character, that is probably exactly as it should be. It seems like the right voice for this character.

What a great punch at the end! It gave me goosebumps. And the beginning and middle give me all the info I need to appreciate it.

My suggestion: you may want to rework the summary. I didn't find it enticing at all: I just hit 'download' at random because I want to do my part in this online community.

I'm looking forward to reading more stories by Jeff Faulkner.
