Ancient Date
I am giving this 3 stars because I believe politics are involved in your previous ratings.  People should keep 5 star votes for truly awesome stories.  I admit when I heard the age "89" I took a double take too.  But to give you 5 stars for that double take would be belittling the classics.  A Reliable Wife by Goolrick is 5 stars, maybe.  I'm sure that the author would agree with my take that improvements could be made.  Its cocoon meets 50 first dates.

Real to life
Very well written with alot of attention to detail everyone can relate to. Lena shares feeling that everyone has had at some time in their life - young and old. Her friend Tillie is a true to life person who just wants everyone to be happy, especially her friends. I think this would make a good movie.

A LATE DATE
Very touching story and very well written. Liked the true to life characters with real to life feelings. A story that many people can relate to. Tillie, a well-meaning friend who wants to see everyone - especially her friends, happy. Would like to see this made into a movie because I think many everyday people could relate to it.

A Story about that little thing inside all of us no matter what the age, the little thing that starts out as butterfies and has the potential to turn into the greatest thing of all, Love. Well done Trudy .

A Late Date
I usually like a book because it is written so that I can relate to the characters and their personalities and/or their life experiences. Lena and Jess are two people that are described in such detail that you feel you already know them personally. I really enjoyed the story-line, it flowed comfortably, and it ended with me wanting to know more about them. A sequel definitely is needed AND wanted! This author really knows her stuff!  Why has she been hiding her talent? She needs to write another chapter for us! Good job, Trudy!

Wonderful
While reading the story (which I thought was well written) I could just picture both Lena and Jess and wanted  to know more about them. And, the reader was left in suspense. I think Trudy Miller should write a sequel and let us know what happened on the "Late Date".

A Late Date
A story well written and well structured. But, to me, what makes it outstanding is the message that it conveys to the elder:  you have seen many dawns and many sunsets but you have not seen your last one; the future is always new no matter how old you might be.
The world needs more stories like this one!
