My paying job is Administrator at the University of Victoria and although I love it there's not a great deal of room for creativity. The subject matter in my stories may be serious but I can usually find something that may cause a laugh.
My series of Letters I Wish I Had Sent (4 editions) is now offered at Amazon.com in Kindle format and a book will be published soon and offered through their CreateSpace program.

Only high school egos are bruised in this light-hearted account of late-night fisticuffs on a cold, frozen neighborhood street.
(New ending has been added)
There's nothing but blue skies ahead, but in this painfully honest account of a lustful encounter gone bad, one hopes that the young "pilot" eventually makes a safe landing.
Note: Story has been rewritten and a new ending added.
Have you ever read an advertisement, received a spam email, or watched a television program you felt was so insulting you wanted to scream? You know, sadly, there are many people who still buy the "product", believe the message, or watch the program with a noncritical eye. You also know it...
Have you ever read an advertisement, received a spam email, watched a television program or witnessed an event that felt was so insulting you wanted to scream (or at least write someone a scathing letter)? Here are 4 more examples in the second installment of this series.
A local gang wreaks havoc on their own neighborhood. The leader loses his cool when he fails to achieve the notoriety he so craves, and some wonder if it’s time for a change.
The gang meets at their favorite bar - a dive called the Riviera. An altercation with a nasty bouncer creates an unlikely rescue scene and the hangover brings up some hidden issues.
High school buddies embark on a road trip to Jasper National Park. Recreational drugs, trouble and comic relief ensue... and there are consequences.
The inmates are revolting, and it's not going to be pretty in this tension-filled escapade that might surprise you.
A short disturbing tale from a short disturbed writer. This is a tongue-in-implanted-cheek look at where the cosmetic surgery industry is headed. Be warned. If you are a high-powered corporate executive you may find this story somewhat uncomfortable.
